About Linny
Linny Simkin, managing principal
Linny has been in executive search for over 25 years, since starting her career at Heidrick & Struggles in Los Angeles. She spent her early years as a generalist, serving clients in hospitality, financial services, manufacturing, retail, aerospace and non-profit. Before founding Simkin Search, she spent ten years as a Principal and Senior Principal with Terra Search Partners, honing her knowledge of the real estate industry. She has executed searches in a range of functions and market niches, including affordable housing, property and asset management, development/project management, acquisitions, and finance. Linny graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theater from Pomona College.

Linny is a singer/songwriter/guitar player who loves playing music with friends. To stay fit, she is a regular in the early morning crowd at Seattle Athletic Club Northgate. She lives with her husband Barnaby just a few miles from where she grew up in Seattle.
